Rest be assured - if you offer a budget of $1000, 99% of the time, any recommendations you get will include the "if you spend $1100, you can get this" response. - This is a hard one for many because it always elicits that "but what if I'm missing out on this great feature if I only spend just a bit more" feeling (especially for new photographers). For those who are brand new to photograhpy, it is recommended that you start by doing your own research. Oh, and phrases like "that doesn't break the bank"/"cheap"/"easy on the wallet" aren't helpful.Research that you have already done - It is super important that you describe (in detail) any information that you have come across that has either helped or confused you toward choosing new gear. We need to know that number. Budget is important because we all have an amount that we just aren't comfortable spending (regardless of the "deal").
